About Me
At Ducklings Tiny Home Nursery, I offer more than just childcare. Myself and my assistant provide a calm, nurturing home where children feel safe, valued, and supported. Our goal is to help each child grow in confidence while having fun.
Why I Became a Childminder
Becoming a registered childminder in Durrington allowed me to combine my love of working with children and my experience as a parent. I wanted to create a homely space where little ones feel happy, secure, and free to be themselves.
What I Offer Each Day
Each day is filled with play and learning. We like to spend time outdoors and visit lots of new places such as zoos, farms, the library, parks, woods and the beach. We tailor activities to each child’s interests and stage of development.

At Ducklings Tiny Home Nursery, I’ve created a welcoming and familiar space where children feel safe, relaxed, and ready to play. Every part of the setting supports learning, comfort, and confidence.
Every child who arrives steps into a warm, safe, and stimulating space. This home-based setting feels like an extension of your own home. It offers comfort, creativity, and opportunities to learn through play.
Inside, the playroom includes open-ended resources that spark imagination. Children also enjoy a cosy reading corner, as well as a space for painting and creative activities. In many cases, they choose what to explore, which helps them feel independent and engaged.
In addition, the secure garden provides room to move, explore, and connect with nature. Children ride, dig, and play in the fresh air throughout the day. As a result, outdoor time becomes a fun and meaningful part of their routine
To support wellbeing, I clean the setting regularly and check each area for safety. Because these routines happen consistently, children feel calm, capable, and ready to enjoy their time here.
